Oman Expresses Interest in Russian Companies Entering its Energy Market

Vladimir Dergachev, executive director of the Russian-Omani Business Council at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the Sultanate of Oman is showing interest in Russian companies entering the sultanate’s energy market.

He pointed out that Russian companies have received offers to guarantee their participation in tenders for the exploration and production of underground resources.

The Executive Director added: “During the last spring meeting at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Oman, the new minister stated his country’s desire to see Russian companies in the Sultanate market. wealth.

Dergachev said that the Russian side received the relevant maps along with a plan for the distribution of land, which will be presented at the auction.

The Executive Director emphasized that the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry immediately forwarded these proposals to Zarubig Neft and Ross Geologiya, and now the Omani side is waiting for a response from these two companies.
