Oil consolidates losses

Oil prices intensified their decline today, Friday, in light of concerns about oil demand expectations, especially in connection with the tendency of the world’s central banks to raise interest rates to fight inflation.

By 15:20 Moscow time, futures for West Texas Intermediate crude oil fell 3.34% to $80.70 per barrel.

Meanwhile, according to Bloomberg, Brent futures fell 2.87% to $87.86 a barrel.
