Norway has announced that it will supply Ukraine, in cooperation with the United States, with two NASAMS air defense systems.
A statement from the Norwegian Ministry of Defense on Friday said: “In cooperation with the United States, Norway will provide Ukraine with two NASAMS systems.”
She indicated that they would be added to two systems that the United States provided to Ukraine last fall.
She confirmed that Norway would train the Ukrainian military in the use and maintenance of the new systems.
This statement was made against the backdrop of a visit to Kyiv by Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram.
