North Korea Warns US and South Korea of Crossing Danger Line

The North Korean Foreign Ministry has confirmed that the United States, Japan and South Korea are crossing a “dangerous line” that cannot be tolerated.

In a statement on Saturday, Pyongyang blamed the US for the collapse of the international arms control system and stressed that the weapons being developed by Pyongyang are aimed at bringing peace and stability to the Korean Peninsula.

It is likely that the harsh statements of the DPRK Foreign Ministry are related to the Freedom Shield military exercises that South Korea and the United States are conducting from March 13 to 23.

North Korea has repeatedly stated that it will retaliate in the event of provocative actions by the United States, South Korea or Japan, including during exercises.
