Social media activists have circulated videos and photos of Brazilian star Neymar da Silva, new player for Al Hilal club, and his reaction when offered Saudi coffee upon his arrival in the Kingdom.

Neymar Joins Al Hilal Club in Saudi Arabia

Brazilian star Neymar da Silva arrived last night, Friday, in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal following an agreement between the two parties that is extended until 2025.

Upon his arrival in Riyadh, Neymar said in a video clip posted by the Al Hilal club on their official X platform page (formerly Twitter): “I’m here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, thank you.”

Neymar’s Reaction to Saudi Coffee

Activists stressed that Neymar apparently did not drink coffee and only smelled it in a video clip that the Saudi club posted on their official page on Platform X, while others went to shed light on him holding a coffee cup with his left hand.

Neymar’s Transfer to Al-Hilal Club

Neymar Jr., 31, joined Al-Hilal from French club Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth more than $98 million, according to the Transfer Market website.
