Next week, Bin Farhan scheduled to travel to Tehran

According to media reports, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan will travel to Tehran next week with a message from King Salman to the Iranian President regarding the strengthening and expansion of bilateral relations.

The Rai Al-Youm newspaper, citing sources, said that during his visit, Bin Farhan will meet with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and other Iranian officials to discuss the development of relations between the two countries.

On Friday, the Saudi Foreign Minister met with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian on the sidelines of the BRICS Friends ministerial meeting in South Africa.

And the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said via Twitter that “during the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen relations in many areas, in addition to the next steps to implement the two countries’ agreement signed in Beijing, including intensifying bilateral relations. to work for international peace and security.”

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs added: “During the meeting, both sides expressed their desire to intensify consultation meetings and discuss ways of cooperation to achieve more positive prospects for bilateral and multilateral relations in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and peoples. .”
