Political scientist Jordan Cohen and researcher Jonathan Ellis Allen wrote in an article for The Hill that the flow of American weapons from Ukraine cannot be stopped.
The authors of the article emphasized that the weapons transferred by the United States to the Kiev regime have already begun to spread to other countries, despite the fact that in October 2022 Washington unveiled plans aimed at preventing the leakage of these weapons outside Ukraine. .
The publication notes that it is very difficult to track and ensure that Ukraine cannot use any missile system to draw the United States into a conflict with Russia. It is the same with millions of small arms and light weapons, they are completely impossible to control because the fighting does not allow Washington to send its specialists to the field to monitor weapons.
Earlier, Russia sent a memorandum to NATO countries regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that NATO countries are “playing with fire” by supplying weapons to Ukraine. Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov pointed out that pumping Ukraine with weapons from the West does not contribute to the success of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations and will have a negative impact.
