During a meeting with Saudi Ambassador to Tehran Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anazi, Morteza Shah Mirzaei explained that there are favorable and promising investment opportunities in the Iranian petrochemical industry. He expressed Iran’s willingness to cooperate with large petrochemical companies such as Saudi Arabia’s SABIC.
Expanding Bilateral Cooperation
During the meeting with the Saudi minister, who visited the 17th Iranplast exhibition for the second time, Shah Mirzaei said that Iran and Saudi Arabia, as two important regional powers with large oil and gas resources, can expand their bilateral cooperation in these areas.
Opportunities in the Iranian Petrochemical Industry
It was also noted that there are very good opportunities in the field of knowledge bases, local manufacturers, project implementers, and operators of Iranian petrochemical projects. Morteza Shah Mirzaei expressed Iran’s willingness to cooperate and provide these opportunities to companies like SABIC and Saudi Aramco, which are considered major petrochemical companies.

Morteza Shah Mirzaei emphasized that joint Iran-Saudi cooperation could include a diverse portfolio of Iranian petrochemical products, goods, and equipment used in the industry. These products are produced by Iranian manufacturers. He expressed great pleasure to host the Saudi Ambassador for the second time at the Iranplast exhibition, highlighting that both countries are friends and allies, and cooperation between them has no boundaries.
