Billionaire and well-known American businessman Elon Musk accused the leaders of Twitter of being reckless in his purchase of the social network.
Musk’s advisers sent a notification on social media that the owner of the project intends to complete the deal in accordance with the deadlines stipulated in the agreement dated April 25, 2022.
Musk’s lawyers are seeking the cancellation of the deal in Delaware court, scheduled for October 17, in order to smoothly raise the necessary funding and complete it as early as October 28.
“Surprisingly, Twitter is pushing ahead with this lawsuit, recklessly jeopardizing the deal and endangering the interests of its shareholders,” Musk’s lawyers said in a statement released by CNBC.
