More than 250 people fell ill in line for farewell to Queen Elizabeth

The charity St John Ambles announced that 259 people fell ill with a bad cold while queuing to pay their last respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II, and nine of them were taken to hospital.

The organization expressed concern about the tens of thousands of people queuing along the River Thames due to low nighttime temperatures.

It was announced that the palace gates will be closed at 6:30 am tomorrow, Monday, in preparation for the Queen’s funeral with the participation of many leaders, heads of state and 23 ruling families around the world.
