Press reports have indicated the arrival date of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, a striker for English club Liverpool, in Saudi Arabia to complete his move to Al-Ittihad Jeddah during the current summer transfer period.

Private Jet Arrival in Jeddah

Al-Ittihad’s negotiator has agreed on a transfer deal for Mohamed Salah and the player will arrive in Jeddah by private jet on Friday night, according to the Okaz newspaper, citing a source.

In turn, Saudi journalist Adel Al-Mas confirmed that Mohamed Salah will arrive in Jeddah on Friday in a private jet to complete a transfer deal to Al-Ittihad this summer.

Adel Al-Mas wrote via his X social media account: “According to what I received recently, Egyptian star Mohamed Salah is due to arrive in a private jet in Jeddah tomorrow, Friday, after completing the procedures for his official transfer to the ranks of the club.” Al-Ittihad”, a native of the English club “Liverpool”.

And he added: “Tomorrow at six o’clock in the evening, on Friday, the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah will arrive in Jeddah.”

In turn, journalist Tamer Amin reported on the transfer of Mohamed Salah to the Al-Ittihad club in Jeddah, stressing that the official announcement of this deal will take place next Saturday.

During the presentation of the End of the Day program broadcast on Al Nahar on Thursday evening, he explained that the reason for the confirmation of Salah’s transfer to the Saudi club was the statements of a source in Liverpool for the first time in this regard, in addition to the statement of the Jeddah Federation on this occasion. He added that Al-Ittihad Jeddah would announce another deal, which would include the inclusion of Spanish player Sergio Ramos in the ranks of its players.

He noted that Salah’s move to a Saudi club will be welcomed by some and disappointed by Mohamed Salah’s Ballon d’Or and the end of his football career in one of the world’s most important leagues.

And the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiya reported that Mohamed Salah agreed to the offer of the Jeddah Union, but so far it was Liverpool that blocked the deal.
