"Microsoft" It was decided to freeze the set

Microsoft is freezing hiring for several open job listings, including at Azure Cloud Business and its security software division, Bloomberg reports.

Microsoft said the hiring suspension will continue for the foreseeable future, but declined to comment on which departments and companies would be affected.

The company has confirmed that it respects job offers that have already been submitted to open positions and will make some exceptions for important positions.

Earlier this month, Microsoft cut less than 1% of its workforce of 180,000, affecting groups such as consulting and client solutions, but said it plans to end the current fiscal year with an increase in staff.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai told employees that a decline in hiring is expected for the rest of the year.
