Medvedev: Russia expropriates companies from countries that confiscate their assets

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia will be forced to expropriate the property of companies from countries that, after a UN resolution, confiscate their foreign assets.

Medvedev said: “If national measures are taken to steal Russian assets, based on the resolution of the UN General Assembly, and the withdrawal of funds by countries from a known place, then we will have no choice. It will be necessary to permanently remove funds from the property of private investors from these countries, although they are not responsible for the fools of their governments.

He pointed out that “this coincidence pleases with money and other valuable property in Russia, this is a little more than 300 billion dollars. This is enough to make up for what was stolen from Russia.”
