Manchester United have signed rising star Zidane Iqbal to a long-term contract.

Manchester United Football Club announced today, Tuesday, the contract extension of young Iraqi player Zidane Iqbal.

Manchester United are delighted to announce that youngster Zidane Iqbal has signed a new long-term contract,” United wrote on their website.

He added: “Iqbal has agreed to sign a new contract that will keep him at United until June 2025, with the option to extend for another year.”

Iqbal, 19, is a midfielder who joined Manchester United’s academy at the age of nine and made his first team debut in a Champions League clash last December against Young Boys at Old Trafford.

Previously, Iqbal played for the national team of Iraq, where he took part in two matches of the qualifying tournament of the World Cup.
