Macron’s Residence Receives Package Containing a Severed Finger

The French newspaper Valeurs actuelles, citing a security source, said the severed finger was mailed to the Elysee Palace, the official residence of French President Emmanuel Macron.

The source indicated that the Élysée’s correspondence department received the “package” between 9 and 10 July, a few days before France celebrates National Day or Bastille Day on 14 July.

The newspaper also quoted a source as saying that “there was no written message in the package”, noting that “the finger was placed in a refrigerator at the presidential residence until the police received it at night.”

The source confirmed that “the finger amputee has been identified,” noting that the matter “immediately led to the adoption of appropriate measures in the event of a disaster, so that the person concerned can be referred to the competent authorities and given appropriate treatment.” medical support”.
