Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said in an interview with the US television channel NBC that his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin has not always been clean, but they remain true friends and reliable partners.
Lukashenka added: “You know that we (he and Putin) sometimes argued and disagreed, but as the closest friends and reliable partners. As I once said, no one has such a level of relations as between the presidents of Belarus and Russia. .”
The Belarusian president added that relations between Moscow and Minsk have recently strengthened. He stressed that there is mutual trust between him and Putin.
The journalist asked Lukashenka to describe the state of the Russian president, in particular, what he thinks, to which he replied: “An ideal, literate person, good health, an athlete.”
