Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will hold talks with the Egyptian leadership in Cairo today, Sunday.
Lavrov arrived in Cairo on Saturday as part of an African tour, during which he will also visit Ethiopia, Uganda and the Republic of the Congo.
“Tomorrow Lavrov will hold talks with the leadership of Egypt. Having visited this friendly country, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry will begin a tour of African countries, ”Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel.
