Lavrov disputes Western minority’s claim of speaking for all humanity

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the Western minority should behave decently, respecting other members of the international community.

“Let’s call a spade a spade: no one allowed the Western minority to speak on behalf of all mankind,” Lavrov said at a meeting of the UN Security Council on effective multilateralism and protecting the principles of the UN Charter.

On the other hand, Lavrov pointed out that the United Nations and the requirements of its charter posed a threat to US global aspirations.

Notably, the United States refused to issue American visas to journalists accompanying Lavrov, which Russia and other countries considered a flagrant violation of the UN Charter.
