Kyiv forces announced an air alert in several regions of Ukraine at dawn on Monday.
The declaration included Mykolaiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Odessa, Sumy and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
The Ukrainian authorities also announced an alarm in Zaporozhye and Odessa.
Several explosions took place in different parts of Ukraine late Sunday, according to Ukrainian media reports, with President Volodymyr Zelensky saying that many Ukrainian cities were suffering from power shortages.
