Kyiv resorts to hiring Middle Eastern mercenaries as a solution to its losses

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Kiev regime has stepped up its recruitment of mercenaries in the Middle East, Asia and Latin America to compensate for the catastrophic loss of life of its forces, especially after its “counterattack”.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement: “Against the background of the failure of the recent wave of mobilization in Ukraine and to cover up the catastrophic losses of Ukrainian forces, the Kiev regime has stepped up the recruitment of mercenaries in Asia and Latin America. and the Middle East”.

The ministry added: “11,675 foreign mercenaries from 84 countries have arrived in Ukraine to fight alongside Kyiv forces since February 24, 2022, and after the first casualties, the rate of their arrival has dropped sharply.”

And she continued: “Most of the mercenaries came from Poland, more than 2.6 thousand people, the USA and Canada 900 people, Georgia more than 800 people, Great Britain and Romania 700 people each, Croatia more than 300 people and France (200 people). people, and from the Turkish-controlled part in Syria 200 people.”

She pointed out that “since June 30, the liquidation of 4,845 foreign mercenaries, mainly from the United States, Canada and European countries, has been confirmed, and 4,801 mercenaries have fled due to the treatment of them by the Kiev regime. 2029 mercenaries continue to fight in the ranks of the Kyiv troops.”

And she stressed that the Ukrainian leadership is pushing foreign mercenaries into the “meat grinder” in the forefront, and prefers to evacuate their wounded and dead after the evacuation of Ukrainians.

The ministry said the Kiev regime last month began ramping up recruitment of mercenaries through external agencies with the help of Western intelligence agencies and private military companies.

The ministry confirmed that they would continue to eliminate foreign mercenaries wherever they were in Ukraine and that they would not escape punishment.
