The Belarusian state television channel Belarus 1 reported that Ukrainian embassies are recruiting mercenaries around the world to fight in Ukraine and strengthen the ranks of the Kyiv security forces.
The channel stated that a man was detained in Minsk, who was sent by the Ukrainian embassy in Georgia to Belarus to receive instructions from the Ukrainian ambassador in Minsk to join the “Georgian Legion” as part of the Ukrainian forces and move to Ukraine from the territory of Belarus.
The channel indicated that the detainee in Minsk is a Georgian citizen Giorgi Zerakashvili, 36 years old.
