Klopp joins attacking campaign against Barcelona

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has joined the campaign to attack Barcelona for spending a lot of money on new deals despite the club’s economic and financial difficulties.

Barcelona has managed to strengthen its position through economic leverage, such as the sale of 25% of La Liga broadcasting rights and the sale of 49% of Barcelona’s studios.

Klopp expressed his disappointment at this and said in comments published by the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo: “I don’t understand it for several reasons, when you tell me you don’t have money, it doesn’t mean I have money. not to spend anything, so my bank card told me twice, fortunately, that was a few years ago.

He added: “I see it as a football fan so I don’t get it, the only club I know that has sold their stadium and some forward rights is Borussia Dortmund and Watzke came in at the last minute and saved everything and I didn’t know whether Watzke was in Barcelona or not.”

Hans Watzke, CEO of Borussia Dortmund, was appointed at the height of the club’s financial crisis in 2005 and is credited with saving the German club from bankruptcy.

It is noteworthy that Barcelona signed 5 new players: Andreas Christensen, Frank Kessy, Jules Conde, Rafinha and Robert Lewandowski.
