Japanese Premier Visits Kyiv to Hold Talks with Zelensky

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will travel to Kyiv today, Tuesday, to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Japanese Foreign Ministry reports.

TV channel was shown NH TV Footage of the Japanese Prime Minister boarding a train at the railway station in Przemysl on the Polish-Ukrainian border.

The train left for Ukraine around 01:30 local time (03:30 Moscow time). The trip to Kyiv takes about 10 hours.

Kishida arrived in Poland from India, where he was on an official visit.

This is Kishida’s first visit to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian special operation.
