In its contract with Krichoviak, Al-Shabab took advantage of the decision of the International Football Association (FIFA) of June 21, which allows foreign players and coaches to suspend work contracts with Russian clubs until June 30, 2023.
Kricovjak is considered the fourth youth deal in the current summer transfer market after the signing of South Korean goalkeeper Kim Sung-kyu from Japan’s Kashiwa Reysol, Ahmed Abdo from Saudi Arabia’s Al Wahda and Mohammed Adam “Moe Adams” from Inter Miami.
32-year-old Gigosh Krichovyak moved to Krasnodar in the summer of 2021, made 15 appearances and scored 5 goals, not counting two assists.
During his career, the Polish footballer defended the colors of several European clubs, including Bordeaux, Reims, Nantes, Sevilla, Paris Saint-Germain, West Bromwich, Lokomotiv Moscow, AEK Athens and Krasnodar.
Krychowiak took part in 91 international matches for the Polish national team, scored 5 goals, played at Euro 2016, 2020 and the 2018 World Cup.
