Israeli army: We will not reveal everything about security relations with Saudi Arabia

Israeli army spokesman Brigadier General Ran Kochav said on Sunday that Tel Aviv would not reveal everything about security relations with Saudi Arabia.

The Israeli military spokesman emphasized that both Tel Aviv and Riyadh have a common enemy, saying that the Iranians are a common enemy, expressing the hope that Tel Aviv will be able to cooperate with the United States in fulfilling President Joe Biden’s promise not to turn Iran into a nuclear state.

Saudi Arabia does not have diplomatic relations with Israel and for this reason demands the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, but reports recently circulated by the Israeli and American media pointed to an imminent announcement of a normalization of relations between Riyadh and Tel Aviv. Aviv and went further, declaring a defensive alliance between Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia and Israel, to counter what is being called the “Iranian threat.”

And last Friday, the Saudi Arabian Civil Aviation Authority announced the opening of the Kingdom’s airspace to all air carriers that meet transit requirements, including Israel.
