The Israeli military spokesman emphasized that both Tel Aviv and Riyadh have a common enemy, saying that the Iranians are a common enemy, expressing the hope that Tel Aviv will be able to cooperate with the United States in fulfilling President Joe Biden’s promise not to turn Iran into a nuclear state.

Saudi Arabia does not have diplomatic relations with Israel and for this reason demands the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, but reports recently circulated by the Israeli and American media pointed to an imminent announcement of a normalization of relations between Riyadh and Tel Aviv.
