Director General of the Department of Industrial Development of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals of Iraq Aziz Nazim Abd expressed the desire of Iraqi companies to strengthen relations with Russian companies in the field of technology transfer.
In a conversation with RT on the sidelines of his participation in the Made in Russia forum today, an Iraqi official revealed the prospects for cooperation between Russian and Iraqi companies, and also said that Iraqi companies can buy Russian technologies and transfer them to Iraq in order to consolidate industries in the country or participate together with Russian companies in joint ventures.
As for the goals of his participation in the forum, the director general of the Industrial Development Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Minerals indicated that the purpose of participation is to get acquainted with Russian technologies and strengthen the first relations with Russian companies in areas that may be of interest to Baghdad. .
Today Moscow hosted events and activities of the Made in Russia International Export Forum, the purpose of which is to acquaint international companies with Russian products and their advantages.
During the event, the necessary measures to support exporters in Russia, new opportunities opening up for Russian brands, specifically for products manufactured in Russia, and the mechanisms of Russia’s foreign economic cooperation in the current geopolitical realities will be discussed.
