Iraq scored a valuable victory over Oman in the semi-finals of the West Asian Under-23 Championship to set up a meeting with Iran.
The Iraq national team qualified after defeating their Omani counterpart with an unanswered goal, which an Omani international scored by mistake into his own net.
Iraq will meet with the Iranian team in the final of the tournament, the day after tomorrow, on Tuesday, in the capital of Iraq, Baghdad.
