Insomniac Games Reveals More Landmarks in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Insomniac Games has announced during its San Diego Comic-Con panel that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will feature additional New York and Marvel landmarks in its open-world environment. Players will even have the opportunity to visit Aunt May’s house in Queens.
Jacinda Chew, the Senior Art Director for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, shared the following details:
The game not only expands the gameplay space, offering more locations to swing to, but also includes exciting Marvel and New York landmarks. For instance, fans have expressed interest in visiting Aunt May’s house and seeing where Peter lives. To be able to explore that space and witness his home is truly incredible.

Insomniac Games has also clarified that the appearance of Mary Jane’s character will remain the same in the sequel. Additionally, players will have the ability to utilize Web Wings for enhanced traversal in the open world.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to release exclusively for PS5 on October 20, 2023.
