I studied the Syrian dossier in detail. Abdullahyan is negotiating with Erdogan and Cavusoglu

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian announced that he had discussed “a large number of documents” with his Turkish counterpart, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, including bilateral relations as well as regional and international documents.

He added: “We have focused on the need to support the issues of strategic cooperation between Iran and Turkey … in the framework of negotiations on strategic cooperation.”

Abdullahyan said that in the near future the President of Turkey will visit Tehran to participate in the next high-level meeting on strategic cooperation between the two countries.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that the talks with his Iranian counterpart Abdullahyan in Ankara dealt extensively with the Syrian dossier.

At a press conference that followed the meeting between Abdullahian and his Turkish counterpart, in addition to the meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Davutoglu said: “We discussed the Syrian case in detail and reiterate our respect and support for political unity and Syrian lands. , but for 11 years now there (in Syria) the crisis has been going on.” This led to a lot of problems.

The Turkish minister added: "We have to work on solving many problems within the framework of the Astana process."

He pointed out that negotiations are underway between Turkey, Syria and Russia at the level of foreign ministers, saying: "We have informed Iran about the negotiations that have taken place so far between us and the Syrian side, within the framework of coordination within the framework of Astana."

Davutoglu stressed that Ankara's cooperation and coordination with Tehran "continues within the framework of the Astana process, and we have a common desire to intensify the political track, the work of the Constitutional Committee and other steps in Syria to establish stability."

Notably, the Iranian foreign minister started a trip from Beirut a few days ago, which also took him to Syria, where he met with his Syrian counterpart Faisal al-Mikdad and then met with President Bashar al-Assad, who assured the Iranian minister that his the country will not continue dialogue with Turkey if its goal is not to end the occupation and support terrorist organizations.

This is exactly what Turkey reacted to yesterday, when the representative of the ruling Justice and Development Party, Omar Celik, said that the Turkish presence in Syria "is not an occupation."
