Gas price in Europe reaches its highest level in almost 6 months

Trades showed that the price of natural gas in Europe today, Tuesday, exceeded the level of 2,600 dollars per thousand cubic meters for the first time since the beginning of March last year.

As a result of trading, prices for natural gas in the European market rose today by 13%.

Prices for blue fuel started trading at $2,418 per thousand cubic meters, after which they accelerated their growth and exceeded $2,600.

Prior to this, the Russian gas company “Gazprom” said that gas prices in Europe this winter, according to the most conservative estimates, could reach the level of $4,000 per thousand cubic meters.
