G7 Reaches Consensus on Appropriate Utilization of Artificial Intelligence

The Ministers for Digitalization and Technology of the G7 member states issued a joint statement following a two-day meeting in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture, Japan.

According to Kyodo, the ministers agreed to form international principles for the implementation of free data trust audit (DFFT), and also agreed on the “five principles” for the use of new technologies, including the need for the “appropriate use of artificial intelligence.” .”
