Fox News reveals Biden’s involvement in firing Ukrainian prosecutor who investigated son’s case

Fox News has released documents about a “suspicious” relationship between US President Joe Biden and his son Hunter in Ukraine since 2015.

The American Network reported that Hunter Biden and his business partners with ties to the Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holding attended a December 2015 holiday party hosted by then Vice President Joe Biden, days after he returned from a trip to Ukraine. , where he threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid if he didn’t. The Ukrainian prosecutor general who was investigating his son’s case is expelled, noting that the attorney general, whom Biden demanded his dismissal, was investigating the company. where his son works.

As vice president, Biden traveled to Ukraine and pressured the country’s leadership to fire then-Attorney General Viktor Shokin, who led the investigation into Mykola Zlochevsky, founder and former chairman of Burisma Holdings, where Hunter was a board member from April 2014 to April 2019. .

Biden’s defenders said Shokin was fired not because he was too aggressive in dealing with corruption, but because he was too soft.

Biden visited Ukraine from December 7 to 9, 2015. Three months after the visit, Shokin was fired.

Biden once boasted on camera that he spearheaded the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy and successfully pushed for Shokin’s dismissal.

“I looked at them,” he told the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018, “and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours.’ If the attorney general isn’t fired, you won’t get any money. ”

However, Biden’s allies, and himself, argued that his intervention in causing Shokin’s resignation had nothing to do with his son, but with corruption problems.

Biden has repeatedly stated that he “never spoke to his son about his business dealings abroad.”
