Former US official: Ukraine may disappear from the world map if it continues to supply weapons

Colonel Douglas McGregor, a former adviser to the US Secretary of Defense, told Sky News Australia that Ukraine could disappear from the world map if the process of supplying it with weapons continues.

The expert criticized Western countries, especially Australia, for providing military assistance to Kyiv, stressing that they had to contribute to a peaceful solution to the situation, otherwise Ukraine would face destruction and death.

Speaking about Ukraine, McGregor expressed his opinion: “In principle, this failed state can completely disappear from the world map. I believe that a ceasefire is necessary. Australia should insist on this, because no one in Washington will do this. “People in Berlin, Paris and London are increasingly supporting this idea of a ceasefire, some kind of deal. Because we cannot afford to fight to the last Ukrainian.”

And the French news agency reported that Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese promised to provide Ukraine with 14 armored personnel carriers, 20 Bushmaster armored vehicles and several drones.

On the other hand, Russia sent a diplomatic note to all countries involved in the supply of weapons to the Kyiv regime, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov indicated that these arms and ammunition supplies had become a legitimate target of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
