For the first time in two months, the price of gasoline in the United States fell

The American Automobile Association said the national gasoline price fell below $4.50 a gallon, hitting its lowest level in two months.

The national average gallon on Tuesday was $4,495, down almost 10% from its June peak of over $5.

For the first time since May 16, the average price of gasoline in the country fell below $4.50, according to the US Energy Information Administration.
