He pointed out that the record high level of trade between the countries in 2022 “brings the UAE to the first place in this indicator among the Arab countries and allows it to enter the top twenty of Russia’s foreign economic partners for the first time.”
“Russian companies consider the UAE as a convenient production and logistics center for organizing export supplies, importing necessary components, equipment and materials to Russia. In particular, the creation of a Russian industrial group in the Kizad free economic zone near Abu Dhabi is seen as promising. “, – added Bogdanov.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that Moscow welcomes the intention of the UAE leadership to act as a guest at the next forum in St. Petersburg in June.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov said that the volume of trade between Russia and the UAE had reached a record level.
