Jewish media reported that the Israeli FIFA team arrived in Saudi Arabia on Friday to compete in the final tournament for FIFA players, which is hosting the kingdom and will last for two weeks.

And according to the Kan channel, an Israeli team of three players, a coach and a deputy director entered the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Israeli passports through the Emirates.

Team manager Zvika Kosman said he was in constant contact with FIFA officials to make sure the Saudis would allow Israeli team members to enter the kingdom to compete in the tournament. .

The Israeli team received a letter from the Saudi Electronic Sports Association agreeing to enter Saudi Arabian territory to participate in the tournament, although the message did not specifically mention “Israel”, but stated that all teams could enter Saudi Arabian territory to participate.

And local security services in Saudi Arabia have been tasked with guarding members of the Israeli team there.

The manager of the Israeli team said that they do not intend to hide their Israeli symbols during the tournament itself, but most likely will not display them while wandering the streets.

Esports is a sport based on electronic devices and virtual reality and does not involve real physical movements. It is defined as the competition in video games between a group of players, whether individuals or teams, in local or international tournaments, with the aim of obtaining moral and material prizes.
