Haaland Overtakes Mbappé as Most Expensive Player in the World
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland of Norway has managed to break control of Kylian Mbappé, the Paris Saint-Germain French star who tops the list of longtime players in the market.
For the first time in his career, Haaland managed to become the most expensive player in the world by market value after his value soared to 194 million euros, according to football economics site Football Benchmark.

While Mbappe dropped to second place with a market value of 182 million euros.
Spanish Real Madrid stars finished third and fourth with Brazil’s Vinicius Junior worth €157m, followed by his new colleague England’s Jude Bellingham with €152m.
And in fifth place is the young German star Jamal Musiala, a Bayern Munich player, with a fortune of 149 million euros, followed by a young Spanish star Xavi, a Barcelona player, with a net worth of 140 million euros.
In seventh place was Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, in eighth was Manchester City star Phil Foden, in ninth was Barcelona midfielder Pedri, and in tenth was Napoli’s Nigerian Victor Osimhen.
