Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that Turkey is not concerned about the US refusal to sell Ankara F-35 fighter jets and its reaction to Turkey’s purchase of air defense systems.
Haberler quoted Erdogan as saying: “We don’t care if they give us F-35 fighters or how they react to our purchase of protection systems. We can produce any product that we are denied.”
Earlier, the United States sent an official notice to Turkey about its exclusion from the program for the supply of promising F-35 fighters in connection with the purchase of Russian S-400 air defense systems by Ankara.
