Yehia Zakaria, CEO of EgyptAir, announced that the company has launched four direct flights between Cairo and India’s capital, New Delhi.
New Air Route from Cairo International Airport
The first passenger plane of the Egyptian company took off on a new route from Cairo International Airport.
Expanding Relations Between Egypt and India
Zakaria noted that the opening of the new air route was the result of “constant expansion of relations between the two countries, including an increase in the volume of trade and the number of tourists visiting Egypt and India.”
Increased Flights to India
He added that from August 4, the Egyptian airline will operate four flights a week on the new route, while five direct flights a week will operate to India from Cairo to Mumbai.
Development of the Asian Direction
Zakaria said that the Egyptian airline is currently conducting a study on the development of the Asian direction. According to him, the number of flights to this region of the world will increase in the near future.
