The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources said today, Saturday, that the committee for automatic pricing of petroleum products, at its last meeting held after the end of September last year, decided to fix the selling price of three types of gasoline in the local market.

The Committee decided to fix the local selling price of the three types of gasoline products at £8.00 per liter for 80 gasoline, £9.25 per liter for 92 gasoline, £10.75 per liter for 95 gasoline and £7.25 for a liter for gasoline is 95. a liter of diesel, and the selling price of a ton of diesel for non-electric and bakery uses is £5,000 per ton.

The committee said the decision was made after “a study of global economic conditions and their impact on the oil market as a result of the consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war, which led to fluctuations in Brent oil prices, as well as after studying the exchange rate. evaluate.”
