Earthquake in Turkey. Russian rescuers pulled out a man who spent 7 days under the rubble

The Russian Emergencies Ministry reported that its brigades, in cooperation with the brigades of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, pulled a man out of the rubble in Turkey about 7 days after the earthquake.

“The joint efforts of Russian, Belarusian and Kyrgyz rescuers managed to save a man who spent more than 160 hours under the rubble of a building damaged by an earthquake in Turkey,” the ministry said in a statement.

She pointed out that the rescue operation lasted more than four hours at night and there were risks to the lives of rescuers due to the possibility of a collapse.
