The launch conference of the Space Economic Review 2022 showed that the total number of personnel representing the space sector in the UAE exceeds 3,100 engineers, technicians and specialists.
Participants in the conference, which took place yesterday morning in Abu Dhabi as part of a strategic partnership between the Emirates Space Agency and the Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics, said that these people represent more than 80 organizations and companies working in the space industry and the economy of the UAE.
They unanimously agreed that the success of the Space Economic Review 2022 project will contribute to understanding the needs of the space sector, its operators and those responsible for it in the country, and will strengthen national capacities to achieve more outstanding achievements at the local level. and global levels.
