Former Pakistani Foreign Minister and deputy head of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Shah Mehmood Qureshi denied reports of his arrest on Wednesday.
“I haven’t been arrested yet, but be careful! All sorts of strategies are being used to spread false information and create chaos, panic and terror in an attempt to break the spirit of our party and supporters,” Qureshi tweeted.
He called for continued protests against the arrest of former Pakistani Prime Minister and head of the Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf movement, Imran Khan.
Earlier Wednesday, Geo-TV reported that Qureshi was arrested in Islamabad for inciting and organizing protests that are continuing in the country for the second day in a row.
