The Zaporizhia authorities said the IAEA specialists had left the plant, confirming that two observers would remain there.
“Members of the IAEA mission have now left the Zaporozhye NPP, two observers remained,” said Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the board of directors of the Zaporozhye region.
Earlier, Rogov said that the mission of the IAEA delegation to the Zaporozhye NPP will end on September 6, and their further plans are unknown.
Last week, the NPP was visited by a delegation led by IAEA Director Rafael Grossi. Employees of the station and Rosatom walked through its territory and showed the areas affected by the bombing of the Ukrainian security forces.
