Crimean Tatars call Erdogan wise

The head of the regional national-cultural autonomy of the Crimean Tatars, Evaz Umarov, in his speeches called on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to be wiser and softer in resolving the issue of Crimea.

Umarov added: “On behalf of the entire people of Crimea and the entire people of the Crimean Tatars, I want to remind the President of Turkey that Crimea returned to Russia through the democratic will of the absolute majority of the population. , in accordance with international rules .. I advise Erdogan to be wiser and kinder, to bypass the Crimean issue in his statements.

According to him, today many are surprised by the behavior of the Turkish president, who personally, more often than other heads of NATO states, meets with the Russian president, but makes statements aimed at violating the borders of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the so-called “International Crimean Platform Summit”, which discussed ways to “return Crimea to Ukraine,” said that he considers “the seizure of Crimea illegal and unconstitutional.”
