Chinese Foreign Ministry: Partnership between Beijing and Riyadh "integrated strategy"

China described its partnership with Saudi Arabia as “strategic and comprehensive” and the Chinese Foreign Ministry said Beijing is ready to continue working with Riyadh to deepen cooperation and strengthen bilateral partnership.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said in a press statement that “Sino-Saudi relations have witnessed vigorous development and fruitful cooperation in various fields in recent years thanks to the commitment and leadership of the leaders of the two countries.”

He added that his country is “ready to work with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to further build mutual trust, deepen cooperation and strengthen our comprehensive strategic partnership.”

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman visited China in February 2019 as part of an official visit to Beijing as part of an Asian tour that also included Pakistan and India.
