Brighton Officially Joins Milner of Liverpool

Veteran England midfielder James Milner has joined Brighton from Liverpool on a free transfer for one year with an option to renew for another year.

“I am very pleased to welcome James to Brighton,” Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi said on the club’s official website on Wednesday.

The 44-year-old continued: “He’s a great addition to us and I’m sure he’ll help us get to the next level.”

It includes the track record of Milner (37 years old), who started his football career at Leeds and also defended the colors of Newcastle, Aston Villa and Manchester City, and for eight years at Anfield in Liverpool won numerous titles including the Premier League (2019-2020) and the UEFA Champions League (2018-2019).

Milner (61 international caps) will join Brighton on 30 June at the expiration of his Liverpool contract and with his extensive experience in the stadiums he will contribute to the success of Brighton’s first campaign in Europa League competition.” Europa League next season.
