Egyptian striker Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet wanted to send a message to his former team Aston Villa after moving to Turkish club Trabzonspor during the current Mercato.

Aston Villa announced today, Monday, that their striker Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet has left the ranks for good.

Trezeguet responded to Aston Villa with a message via his personal account on the website “Twitter” in which he wrote: “Thank you for everything and wish Aston Villa success in the future.”

Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, 27, joined Aston Villa in the summer of 2019 and scored 9 goals in 64 appearances for the English team, but he suffered a cruciate ligament injury last year and was loaned to Istanbul, Basaksehir, Turkey last January .

At the international level, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet played 55 matches for the Egyptian national team, during which he scored 8 goals.
