The Turkish Anadolu agency reported that a delegation from the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul has completed the inspection of the Ukrainian grain carrier Razoni, flying the flag of Sierra Leone.
The agency cites the Turkish Defense Ministry as saying that a ship carrying 26,000 tons of corn will head to the port of Tripoli in Lebanon.
Remarkably, the ship left the port of Odessa in Ukraine on Monday morning, to become the first grain-laden ship to leave that port since the start of the Russian special operation.
This happened after Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the UN reached an agreement on a mechanism for shipping grain from Ukraine.
