Tunisian Anas Jaber, who finished second last year, reached the final of Wimbledon, the third of the four major tennis tournaments, for the second year in a row, beating the world’s second-best Belarusian Arina Sabolenko.
Sixth-placed Anas made up for it by winning the set 6-7, 4-6, 3-6 on Thursday.

After losing last year’s final against Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan, Anas will have a chance to win the first major title of her career when she faces Czech Marketa Vondrousova in the final on Saturday.
