Anas Makes a Comeback, Reaches Wimbledon Final for Second Time Despite Seeding Struggles

Tunisian Anas Jaber, who finished second last year, reached the final of Wimbledon, the third of the four major tennis tournaments, for the second year in a row, beating the world’s second-best Belarusian Arina Sabolenko.

Sixth-placed Anas made up for it by winning the set 6-7, 4-6, 3-6 on Thursday.

After losing last year’s final against Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan, Anas will have a chance to win the first major title of her career when she faces Czech Marketa Vondrousova in the final on Saturday.
